The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of operations to maintain CNC machines, perform equipment maintenance, and oversee the maintenance of the facility as a whole.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of production facilities; preventative maintenance to reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns; develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes

  • Schedule and perform regular maintenance of equipment

  • Liaise with outside service providers as required

  • Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods; Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdown problems

  • Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment; Monitor and control maintenance costs

  • Clean and maintain work area by supporting 5S program

  • Comply to all safety procedures (Lockout, Tag Out)

  • Small fabrication and welding

  • Perform facility repairs and general maintenance

  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance

  • Able to work flexible shifts, including afternoon shifts

  • All other duties as assigned


  • 3-5 years of experience maintaining CNC machines

  • Certified Millwright preferred

  • A Certificate of Qualification in an Electrical or Mechanical trade

  • Aerospace experience preferred
