Maintenance Manager

 

  • Manage maintenance personnel for all shifts
  • Establish preventative and predictive maintenance programs and schedules
  • Implement a maintenance software for scheduling, PM’s, repair tracking, etc.
  • Identify critical spares
  • Define organizational system for the maintenance area
  • Able to quote and work with outside vendors and general contractor to complete projects
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
  • Manages maintenance budget and pipeline projects
  • Writes capital appropriation requests (CAR) as required

Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:

       Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering

Minimum Experience required: 

  • 4 to 10 years of industrial maintenance training or experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Understanding of general construction practices
  • Maintenance certification from a vocational or trade school preferred
  • Formal understanding of 6s preferred

Skills Required:

Excellent safety practices & PPE knowledge
Gas combustion system experience preferred (Key)
PLC
Electrical

Ability to read Blue prints
Must possess analytical ability
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Organizational skills
Interpersonal skills
Project management
Results driven
Intermediate use of MS office (excel, word, outlook)

Develops capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost and cycle times.
