Location Profile:
Located in Ontario, CA, Summit Machine specializes in the rough and finish machining of super alloys for the aerospace, commercial, defense, power, and petroleum industries.  Complex components include nickel base, titanium, stainless steel, aluminum and carbon steels with parts ranging in size from 2” OD – 100” OD.

Position Summary:
The Technical Data Specialist is responsible for reviewing and verifying completed jobs for conformance to customer purchase order, drawing, process, and specification requirements.  This position reports to the Quality Manager and regularly interacts with other department personnel.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Review and create certification of conformance.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Procedures.
• Communicate with other Quality Certification personnel, managers and supervisors.
• Detail review of Technical Aerospace documentation
• Clerical and Data Base (Data Entry) duties
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
• Aerospace Quality Assurance Experience (AS9100 or ISO9001)
• Knowledge of the machining processes & procedures.
• Detailed oriented, self-motivated
• Must have excellent writing and communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literate (MS office)
 
Experience & Education
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates degree is preferred
• Quality experience is preferred
